Ministries

Adult Choir provides music for Sunday Services; everyone is invited to join the choir. Choir practice is Sunday afternoon at 4:30pm.

Adult Christmas Program is presented each year and is open to anyone to participate.

Annie Armstrong Easter Offering is taken during the Easter season for missionaries in North America and is promoted by the Women On Mission (WOM).

AWANA is a club for children ages 18 months through fifth grade, focusing on Bible learning, Christian fellowship, and fun. It is held each Wednesday night from 6:45 to 8:15 during the school year.

Block Party is a community wide event to bring the community together to have a fun time with games, food and gospel singing. It is held in the summer months.

Brotherhood is for the men of the church to come together once a month (last Tuesday in the month at 6pm) to study God’s Word and make plans for needed  projects pertaining to the church or in the community we serve.

Building Program is an on-going effort to renovate the Gravelly Ministry Center where it can be used for all activities of the Church.  Funds will be continually taken to eventually build a sanctuary at this location.

Candlelight Service (Easter Good Friday & Christmas Eve) is a time for anyone who wants to attend and take communion to remember what Jesus Christ did for us on Calvary. This service begins at 8:30 pm

Community Thanksgiving Dinner is a time where the community is invited to come and share a Thanksgiving meal with us at the Gravelly Ministry Center.

Food Pantry is open to the public every Thursday from 4-6pm for those who qualify.  To qualify an ID and proof of residency is required.

Lottie Moon Christmas Offering is observed and taken at Christmas to support international missionaries.

Operation Christmas Child (OCC) is a project we are involved with each year September through October to provide as many shoe boxes filled with items for children in 3rd world countries.  This project is administered by Franklin Graham and his ministry, Samaritan’s Purse.

Senior Ministry is for all seniors of the church.  It is a fellowship time and a time to carry out  projects that provide for the community. Being a member of the Senior’s Ministry means we are Sharing Faith, Sharing Laughter and Sharing Friendship.

Welcome Wagon is an effort to welcome each visitor (at each service) with a small gift from the church telling them we appreciate them worshiping with us and hopefully they will come again.

Women Reaching Women is a Sunday School Bible Study class for women of all situations (widowed, divorced, single, husband does not attend, etc.)  Everyone is invited to attend each Sunday at 9:45 am

Women on Mission are a group of ladies who meet monthly to study about mission work and to plan mission projects to be carried out by the church body. The group meets the first Tuesday of each month at 6pm, unless otherwise notified of a change.

Young Couples Class (focus on Marriage) is a Sunday School class which their focus is on the marriage of young couples each Sunday morning at 9:45 am.

Youth One80 is a youth group available to young people 6th grade through high school.  They meet each Wednesday at 6:45 at the Ministry Center.
