The statement comes from the mouth of our resurrected Lord and Savior. These words come in the midst of what the church refers to as the Great Commission.Believer’s baptism should be the first act of obedience in a new Christian’s life, and should follow the new birth as quickly as possible. But baptism must also be understood properly before any church baptizes and before any person is baptized. Baptism is only for believers. In other words, baptism is only for those who have publicly professed Christ to be their Savior, and who also believe in the resurrection. (Romans 10:8-13)If you would like to be baptized, talk with Pastor David Salley or Associate Pastor Morris Baker.
