There is something for every age at Gravelly Baptist, where each child can build enriching friendships and a strong faith in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.Nursery Services: Bed baby nursery & toddlers 18 months to 2 years is available during Sunday School and the 11 am worship service. No Nursery at the 8:30 am service.Children’s Church for preschool & grades 1-3 is available during the 11 am service.AWANA Join us for AWANA club each Wednesday night from 6:45 to 8:15 during the school year! We provide children a place to hide God’s Word in their hearts through scripture memory, bible stories, games and lots of fun! There are AWANA groups for every age. Puggles (18-months to 2-year-olds) and Cubbies (3-year-olds to Pre-K) classes meet at Gravelly Church. Sparks (Kindergarten to 2nd Grade) and Truth and Training (3rd to 5th Grade) meet up the road at the new Gravelly Campus. Our AWANA year begins in late August. Check the calendar and come join the fun!Children’s Choir is open to children first grade through 5th grade and meets on the 1st and 3rd Sunday at 5pm.Children’s Church is a mini church program available each Sunday morning during worship service (11am hour) to children first grade through 5th grade.Sunday School is a small group Bible study for all ages beginning with the Nursery through Senior Adults. There is a class for any situation you may find yourself in and the meeting time is Sunday mornings at 9:45 am.Vacation Bible School (VBS) VBS includes a curriculum of Bible study, crafts, music, mission studies, and recreation/refreshments. Participants work in small groups according to age or interest, allowing each participant the opportunity to ask questions, participate in the activities and be introduced to Jesus as their Lord or strengthened in their faith journey. We invite the entire community to become involved in VBS. We have classes available from Nursery through Senior adults with an outstanding group of volunteers who fill the leadership roles of each activity. We usually have 130 to 175 students and an amazing staff of more than 100 volunteers. We invite people to come through the media, newspaper ads, flyers to the community and through our monthly newsletter.
